The Delhi High Court has ruled in favor of Dharampal Satyapal Sons Pvt Ltd, a conglomerate that owns the brand 'Catch', in a case against Google. The Court ordered Google to remove videos from two YouTube channels that contained defamatory and baseless allegations against the company's products, claiming that all Indian spices contain cow urine and cow dung. The plaintiff had produced a list of ingredients in their products, obtained certifications from regulatory bodies, and presented reports of an independent food analysis that did not indicate the presence of any contaminants as alleged in the videos. Despite acknowledging the plaintiff's complaint, the defendants failed to remove the infringing content, showing mala fide on their part. The Court decreed the suit against the defendants and directed Google to take necessary action to ensure that the videos are taken down. The Delhi High Court has ruled in favor of Dharampal Satyapal Sons Pvt Ltd, a conglomerate that owns the brand 'Catch', in a case against Google.
