The Delhi High Court has ordered news channels Sudarshan News, Orissa TV, Bharat Prakashan, as well as social media platforms YouTube, Google, and Twitter to block links to news reports accusing a Muslim man of forcibly converting a woman to Islam. The order came after a plea by Azmat Ali Khan, who is being investigated for the allegations. Khan argued that the circulation of the videos posed a threat to his safety and security as well as the independent probe. The court has also issued a notice to the Delhi Police to submit a status report on the investigation and asked them to contact the complainant about the case's pendency. The court has directed all respondents to immediately block the links for public viewing, considering the severe threat posed by the comments received.
