Central Government Re-Appoints Four Law Officers as Additional Solicitors General in Four High Courts

"Central Government's Appointments Committee Approves Re-Appointment of Four Law Officers as Additional Solicitors General"

The Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet (ACC) has granted its approval for the re-appointment of four law officers as Additional Solicitors General (ASG) in India. Chetan Sharma will retain his position as ASG at the Delhi High Court, while Satya Pal Jain will serve at the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Devang Girish Vyas has been designated as ASG at the High Court of Gujarat, and Dr Krishna Nandan Singh will assume the role of ASG at the Patna High Court.

According to a communication issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, the appointments are valid for a period of three years or until further orders, whichever comes first.
