Calcutta High Court rebukes TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee for resisting CBI's investigation in the School Jobs for Cash scam case. Justice Amrita Sinha questioned Banerjee's reluctance to cooperate with the probe and reminded him that nobody is above the law. Banerjee's advocate had sought an audience with the bench, but the judge dismissed the request, stating that not every person needs to be given notice prior to the investigation. The bench reserved its orders on the West Bengal government's revision application against the CBI and ED's probe. Meanwhile, the Advocate General argued that the judge who ordered the probe had no jurisdiction, and only the state can investigate a crime that has taken place within its boundaries. The CBI's counsel informed the bench that a new officer would replace Superintendent Dharamvir Singh, who had sought voluntary retirement from the SIT probing the case.
