A Mumbai-based attorney has accused BJP MLA Nitesh Rane and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde of using anti-Islamic statements in a recent development that was filed in the Bombay High Court. The petition demands severe legal action against the two politicians, claiming that their remarks could cause division within the community and go against the secular values contained in the Indian Constitution.

The complaint stems from open explanations supposedly made by Shinde and Rane, which the applicant claims were fiery and focused on the Muslim community. The attorney, through the appeal, has encouraged the court to arrange an examination into these comments and indict the pioneers for advancing ill will between distinctive devout bunches beneath Area 153A of the Indian Correctional Code (IPC).
